Historic Iris
Iriswarehouse is a proud member of HIPS (Historic Iris Preservation Society)!
Iris registered more than 30 years ago, qualify to be recorded in the HIPS database. Iris registered in 1984 or earlier (as of 2014) are considered to be "historic" iris!
We are happy to provide as many historic iris for sale as possible. We offer over 150 varieties of historic iris to purchase (and grow!)
Iriswarehouse is a strong believer in iris preservation. It is sad that some varieties offered in the 70's and 80's are already disappearing from the sales market!
Each year we make an effort to add historic iris to our collections to offer to you. We think that many historics have amazing fragrance and certainly the ones that we offer are sturdy additions to your garden...as they have lasted for years and years.
Please forgive us if quanties of these historic iris are limited. Often we will sell out of these varities early in the season....and some varities are limited to one (1) rhizome per order.
Please check back with us as we continue to add upload additional photos of historic iris that we are featuring for sale!.
Enjoy!
